This was an automated call claiming to have the ability to lower the interest rate on all of my credit cards, but I must stay on the line as this will be the final offer. Only the number appeared on my caller ID. I answered and when a person finally picked up on the other end I said, "Who is calling from this number and whom are they trying to contact?" The VERY Hindi sounding man stumbled to sputter "Dis is da werldwite headquarters of Visa Mastercart!" I said "Cease and desist and remove my number from whatever list or system you have it on!" He hung up immediately.
