Qualities of people who cannot avoid scams With peoples motivation to lead a more comfortable life, it is sometimes hard not to succumb to offers that will turn your thousands into millions without any effort. After all, who would not money without lifting a finger? But this however has made people susceptible to scams. It is harder to avoid scams when you are motivated to get into it. Only those who have the strength and the wisdom manage to steer clear from it.
So what makes a person vulnerable to scams? What do they need to avoid taking the bait? Here are some traits that are typical of scam victims. 1. Too trusting
These people see the world as similar to themselves. Because they will not lie, cheat or double-cross anybody, much less rob them of their hard-earned money, they feel that all people are like that. Unfortunately for them, not all people are peaches and cream. Most are sharks waiting to pounce on the willing and sometimes the not so willing victim. All they need is the perfect victim. People who are too trusting do not believe that people can be so bad so they take everything at face value. They believe what people say to them and this is a mistake when it comes to dealing with con artists. You see, these scammers are masters in their game. They already know what to say and how to say it. They are charming and smooth talking. They do not even look like people who scam people. 2. Too naive
People who have not experienced much of how cruel the world can be is another prime target for scams. Like the too trusting person, they too believe everything that people tell them. They believe that a product will work or an investment will really triple their money just because you swear that it is true. They believe not because they are too trusting of you but because they do not know any better. They don't know that scams exist. These people are those that have just entered a society like a fresh graduate in the corporate field or the freshman in a school. They just don't know. 3. Too impulsive.
These people get into one scheme after the next without really thinking about it. They just do what they feel like doing. These people often find it hard to avoid scams because they don't think, they just act.
