2. The Nice Guy (or Gal) These people will look like they won't really need to con people because they are already successful in their own rights. They are well-dressed and well-groomed and are often great communicators. They come across as friendly and affable. They know how to immediately connect with their customers. These people are often trustworthy-looking, with features that may even be angelic.

3. Great with changing the topics. These people are great with avoiding questions that they feel will reveal their scams. Usually, they will answer the question but not specific enough to give you any information. They will skillfully steer the conversation away from the doubts that you expressed and turn it to the advantages that they have been preaching.

4. With an ultimatum Con artists are all about pressure, just to make you feel that you have to buy or else. One of the techniques is to dangle a freebie or discount when you sign up at a certain period. Usually, they will tell you that either you sign up and pay the premium today or risk not getting the offer the next day. When this happens, refuse the offer. That way, you avoid the scam.
